• VERY active dogs
• need a lot of excercise and attention
• they are not good guard dogs
• they dig, howl, and howl
• they cannot be trusted off leash
• MUST be kept on a leash at all times when not confined to a yard
• are not good with cats, but are usually wonderful with children
